It’s a hot summer night. I can’t sleep so I go for a walk in the cool night air. It is very dark and very quiet. I stop to look up at the night sky. Suddenly, I hear a sort of bubbling. I look down and see the ground bubbling up and moving up like ripples of water up towards the sky. I look up and I see the same rippling but coming down from the sky. The sky is gone. The ripples change in color as they flow ever so slowly. I see them finally meet and they clash as in full force, making a soft splashing sound as they seem to break up and dissipate.
I wake up.
